JEVA, a nonprofit for Venezuelan women in the cinema diaspora, is the first of its kind in the country, where art breaks barriers and serves as the primary form of protest and rebellion.

They’ve also reclaimed the term "jeva"—a slang term often used against women—and turned it into a symbol of empowerment.

They wanted a visual identity that challenged traditional notions of femininity and how women in the industry are perceived.

Brand Identity Design

Bold, modern, and unexpected visuals define JEVA’s identity. Centring the three-eyed graphic to symbolise the collective vision of past, present, and future women in cinema—honouring pioneers while celebrating today’s storytellers in Venezuela and beyond.

The result is an energetic, fearless brand design that reflects the bold work and empowerment at the heart of JEVA.
